"Journalists are the manual workers, the labourers of the word. Journalism can only be literature when it is passionate."

La Vie Matérielle by Marguerite Duras, 1987

I am a journalist and writer of two decades experience - much of which was spent at the Financial Times writing and editing on the capital markets desk. I was not, however, a financial journalist before joining the FT, and I wouldn't like to typecast myself as one now. I'm still writing about finance, but I am open to other projects, and my website is open to you. Peruse my work and see what I am capable of, and consider me for your next project.
